Privacy Policy

Jotara — last updated 14 August 2026

Jotara does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. Everything you log stays on your own device.

What Jotara stores

Jotara keeps the habits you set up, the days you tick them off, any notes you write, your reminder times and your appearance settings. All of it is written to storage on your device and nowhere else.

What Jotara does not do

Notifications

If you set a daily reminder, it is scheduled by your own device and fires locally. No message is sent through any server, and no information about you leaves the phone in order to deliver it.

Your data is yours

You can export everything at any time from Settings as a plain JSON file, and import it back on the same or another device. Deleting the app removes all of it from your device permanently — because it only ever existed there, no copy remains anywhere else.

Children

Jotara is a personal habit log and is suitable for general audiences. As it collects no data at all, it collects none from children either.

Changes to this policy

If Jotara ever changes in a way that affects this policy, the policy will be updated here and the date at the top will change. Any change that introduced data collection would be described plainly and in advance.
