The short version

Object Show Build does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party services. The app works entirely offline.

What the app stores

Your shows, projects, characters, drawings and recordings are saved on your own device. A backup copy is also written into the app's folder in the Files app so you can recover your work. None of it is transmitted anywhere.

Permissions the app asks for

• Microphone — only when you choose to record dialogue. Recordings are saved on your device and used to generate mouth animation. They are never uploaded.
• Photos — only when you choose to import a picture to use as artwork or a background. The app reads the image you pick and nothing else. Saving a finished animation to your photo library also uses this permission.
• Camera — only when you choose to photograph an object to trace or use as artwork. The photo stays on your device.

You can decline any of these and keep using the rest of the app.

Children

The app is suitable for children. Because it collects no data, has no accounts, no chat, no advertising and no browsing, there is nothing for a child to share and nowhere for information to go. The one exception is exporting: when you export a video, GIF or project archive, iPadOS shows its own share sheet so you can save the file or send it to another app you have chosen. That is handled entirely by iPadOS, and the app itself sends nothing anywhere.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything it stored. You can also export your work as a project archive first if you want to keep a copy.
